1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites. Similar technologies, like localStorage, store small pieces of data in your browser. They can remember preferences, keep sites working, and (with your consent) measure how sites are used.
2. How consent works on this site
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Non-essential cookies are not set until you opt in (GDPR-style consent). You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories — and change your mind at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer. Your choice is remembered for 12 months, then we ask again.

4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also control cookies in your browser settings (block, delete, or limit them) — see your browser's help pages. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect features like the accessibility toolbar remembering your preferences.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because non-essential cookies are opt-in by default, browsing with GPC or DNT enabled results in the same protective outcome: no analytics or marketing cookies without consent.
